Flickerfest International Short Film Festival are longtime supporters of my work, so I'm delighted that BROKEN LINE NORTH will next screen in their Academy® qualifying Australian competition alongside a fantastic array of Australian shorts.
We are in the ‘Best of Australian 2’ program on Saturday 11 January, 6.30pm at the Bondi Pavilion. Tickets are on sale now.

And so another Sydney Film Festival comes to a close...
Being awarded the Lexus Australia Short Film Fellowship last year was a professional highlight for me, and it was very exciting to present the world premiere of BROKEN LINE NORTH at the festival this year.
I’ve been incredibly lucky to spend the last five years working with a team of collaborators who I adore—as well as finding new and wonderful people along the way—so receiving the fellowship felt like a recognition of everybody’s hard work, creativity and passion.
Thanks again to Sydney Film Festival and Lexus Australia for believing in us and providing us with the resources and platform to make this film and share it with an audience. And thanks to my remarkable team who made it all happen. I couldn't have asked for more.

Ahead of our upcoming world premiere at Sydney Film Festival, I’m delighted to share the official poster for BROKEN LINE NORTH. An original design by the wonderful Jeremy Saunders, with photography by Darcy Tuppen, featuring Alice Keohavong and Kai Lewins.
I am deeply honoured and very grateful to have been awarded the Lexus Australia Short Film Fellowship, presented by Sydney Film Festival.
The Fellowship is the largest cash fellowship for short film in Australia, with up to four Fellowship winners receiving $50,000 each to produce their next short film in 2018, to premiere at the 66th Sydney Film Festival in 2019.
Leading Australian actress Marta Dusseldorp presided over the 2018 selection process as Jury Chair, alongside Sydney Film Festival Director Nashen Moodley, Lexus Australia Senior Manager, Sales & Marketing, Vin Naidoo, Australian producer Greer Simpkin and President of the Australian Directors’ Guild Samantha Lang.
After more than two-and-a-half years of development on BROKEN LINE NORTH, it's a pretty great feeling to be making this film that I love with my wonderful, talented team who have already supported me so much on this project.
